This Thumball is a great tool for exploring personal characteristics that often don't get thought about let alone discussed. Each panel lists 3 virtues or values that begin with the same first letter. For example, Opinionated, Organized, and Outgoing or Gentle, Graceful, and Generous. Play this with many variations:

  • Have the participant state which characteristic is their strong point
  • Have them choose which they'd like to improve
  • Have them state someone they know who exemplifies one of the characteristics
  • The list goes on...

Thumball is a soft stuffed ball to throw, roll, or pass in a circle or randomly. Catch it! Look under your thumb. Respond to the prompt.
